A. The first thing in Roy's family life was to provide a nice home, plenty of food and a loving atmosphere for his family. He was a hard worker but loved having family get togetheres where he loved to cook.

A. Yes he did, he has an older brother Dale in California, a sister Maxine (deceased) and sister Bonnie in Arizona. They were close from I remember. I believe I will forward this to my aunt Bonnie to answer that part of the question.

A. Yes we were all close, and enjoyed each other's company, we didn't get to see each other as often as all of us would have liked, due to all of us being scattered all over distance wise, and all of us were raising our children, other than our brother Dale, he never had any children which was sad because he loves children so he tried to spoil all of ours when he had the chance.
So I'd say we were close.

A. Anytime we went out to eat, my dad never failed to tell us to "Make sure you eat your tree" (you know, the parsley they put on a dish to make it look nice)....Always made me laugh!!

A. My dad was an avid Country Music lover. I remember taking trips to Vegas and I had to listen to that "twangy" country music that would drive me crazy. Now I love country music!!

A. My dad LOVED to save coins, all kinds of coins. I remember one time, my dad put thousands of coins in a big jar and gave it to my son for his 3rd birthday. Tyler loved those coins and played with them for hours on end.
