I will always remember Ryan with a smile on his face. He was always laughing, even as my dad shaved his head bald one summer with a dog shaver :) The best memories I have of him were the times the four of us (me, Rachael, Ryan, and Matt) spent together as little kids. I can still remember him in his family's old Nebraska home, teasing Rachael every chance he could get, but at the end of the day he loved his sister and would never let anything hurt her.
I miss the summer when my family would go to MO to visit the Watson's. Ryan always made the time fun. Even if it meant having mastivious plans. One night while I was sleeping in my grandparents living room alone, Ryan and Matt conjoured an evil plan to wear masks and scare me. Good thing they were smart enough to know better, or grandma would have taught them a lesson!
The last time I saw Ryan was a miracle. I can remember how everytime he came to Omaha, I never got the chance to see him. But for some reason God brought him to me so I could see him one more time. I was in the neighborhood firework stand on the 4th of July trying to find last minute fireworks, when I ran into him. That night he spent with my family blowing up our front lawn with his illegal fireworks :)
I will never forget Ryan and all the good memories he has given to his family in Omaha. Seeing him in NE was always a special occassion, and I only wish I could have spent more time with him before his journey ended. But I know he will be heaven when I get there scaring little girls and lighting boom booms!
