Q. Did Rylan Cotter have a philosophy on life? Something he/she always said?
A. As her mother i can safely say she gave more than she took from life, always placing herself second. How many can say that of themselves, hence her loss being tragic far beyond my own personal loss. her desire to improve the quality of life for those she often refered to as "the forgotten people," led her to embrace studies in International relations where she anticipated putting her knowledge of the Zulu language to use in providing a voice for the forgotten poor of both South Africa, ultimately hoping to be an emmisary of peace and aid in Darfur.
I do not know the workings of the universe,. ..but her loss is magnified by what could and should have been a life of service to the most vulnerable of souls on this planet. Suicide? NOT.
