Mom also was so good about babysitting the kids. She would drop/cancel her plans & be ready to take care of the kids. She made it seem like her grandkids were all the best in the world. I sure miss that. I sure miss her.

One thing I miss about mom is being able to call her & use her amazing memory. I could ask any health question or ask what's the name of so & so's son/daughter... whatever. She was so smart.

My mom was the best grandma. she never showed favouritism & if she went shopping with one grandchild & bought him something, she would buy something for her other grandchildren too. Maybe not every time but often enough that the kids loved the surprises.

Mom had retired early to be with dad who had some health problems. She was so active & full of life & laughter. The most perfect Grandma who enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She made the best pies & bread & everything. I miss her advice & knowledge about everything. She had an amazing memory & saw the good in everyone. She was the best.
