Sandra Easterling Tribute

Sandra of East Haven born March 16, 1952 to the late Deacon Gilmore Harris and Mother Elizabeth Portee Harris passed away December 9, 2008.

Sandra was a member of St Mathews Freewill Baptist Church and will be remembered as very outgoing, funny, loved by everyone, giving, faithful, loved to travel and especially loved to shop. For many years, she worked as the Front Desk Receptionist for Patient Information at St. Raphael Hospital.

Those left to cherish her memory: Sons, Anthony D. Harris (Elizabeth), James T. Harris (Escelena) and Lawrence Easterling (Tanya) all of New Haven; Daughter, Makia J. Easterling of Hartford; Brothers, Leroy P. Harris, Floyd G. Harris, Herman Harris of Elgin, Sc, William R. Harris of Meriden; Sisters, Eddie Mae Phipps (Albert) of Meriden, Myrtle J. Anderson (Scott) of New Haven, Johnnie Mae Wint (Osborn) of Meriden, Anne D. Perkins (Donald) of New Haven Haven; 7 grandchildren A.J., Khadijah, Daquan, Emonee, Aaliyah, Shaylen, Jabril, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers.
