THAT EVIL THING SHOULD DIE IN THE SAME WAY SHE DID U, BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MIJA REST IN PEACE AND COME TO HER IN HER DREAM AND TURN THEM INTO THE WORSE NIGHTMARE EVER EACH AND EVERY DAY OF THAT ANIMALS SO CALL LIFE. I HOPE HER OWN CHILD GROWS UP KNOWING WHAT HER EVIL ANIMAL MOTHER DID TO HER FRIEND. JUST LET THAT ANIMAL SUFFER FOREVER, LET OTHER WOMEN IN PRISON GET AT HER OVER AND OVER AND OVER TILL THEY FINISH HER OFF. THEM WE ALL CAN REST IN PEACE TOO...... I watched this child on Nancy Grace for weeks skipping along to go home and couldn't imagine who would hurt her and never thought it was someone who knew her from church the one place where children are to be safe.

Melissa Huckaby will pay for what she did to you and you know it but it just isn't good enough for me because you didn't do anything wrong you were just a little angel skipping home.

There is nothing that can done to that animal that will equal to what she did to you but now you are safe and warm and playing with all your friends in heaven and looking down on all of us and saying don't cry for me because I am happy and I know you feel no pain no pain at all but we miss you on this side of the curtain.

i lost my brother a few years ago to a car accident ,i got throgh bcz ther was no one to blame but thers nothing wors then a cold bluded murderer ,,i think that ther should be no sentenses but death on live televition .
sandra im sure ur in heaven but dont worry ur murderer will be in hell.

A tree, an eight foot pink (Sandra;s favorite color) crepe myrtle, has been planted as a memorial to Sandra in Kenner Park, next to Jacobsen Elementary School where Sandra went to school. There is a plaque embedded in the ground that says, "In Remembrance of Sandra Cantu, March 6, 2001 - March 27, 2009." In addition, volunteers and donors built a playground at her school and named it the 'Sandra Cantu Playground'.

Sandra's exuberance and smile will live on in the hearts and minds of its visitors, and she will never be forgotten.
