A Great Musician Gone Too Soon

Rick Dell'Amico May 22, 2008

I first saw Sean in 2000 at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago. He was amazing! Spoke to him after the show and he couldn't have been nicer. Very humble and a true gentleman. His sound on Susan Tedeschi's Just Won't Burn was impressive as well. Saw Sean again in 2007 at a really small blues club in Boca Raton FL an he blew the roof off the place. His guitar and voice were just truly incredible. Spoke to him again after that show and he was just as nice and humble as he was in 2000. You could see and hear the pure enjoyment in his playing. Yes, there's the Langs and Mayers and Shepards of Seans generation, but he really was the REAL DEAL...a great musician who will be greatly missed...RIP Sean
