Selena entered my life when i was 11,(i am 18 now) and from the first time i saw her movie, i fell in love, not only with her, but her music, her strength, and her ability to follow her dreams no matter what stood in the way. Since then i have wanted to follow my dream of becoming a singer, and i feel in my heart that as long as i have selena in my heart and music in my soul that i can do it. Selena was more than a gift, she was my inspiration and she still is. She taught me to sing in spanish, and when things don't seem to be going right, i listen to any of her music and i immediately feel better. Thank you Selena! and to her family, i want to say that though she is gone, you can know that Selena will live in my heart forever, and in my childrens heart. I don't care what year it is my children will know who Selena was. Much love and thoughts

Selena, you are lost but not forgotton! i saw your movie when i was young and was enticed by the story and i still love you to this day. it was a terrible day when you died, even though i was to young to remember, but i still love you and will always be in my heart. Im still 'Dreaming of you' Selena!

Wow I can't even tell you how old I was when I first seen that movie. I was pretty young seeing that I'm only 16 now. She died the year after I was born.. Every time I watch the movie I hurt so much, because I think how it would if she was still here, how I would go to all of her concerts and just be so addicted to her music. My name is Salina as well, just spelled different, and I sing in a choir ain't school. I love her music so much, I believe we have sung one of her songs before, I can't remember. i just know that I truly miss her and wish she was here, she died to young, and I feel so bad for her family still til this day, and she was going to have kids and all. I just wish should could have had that. And not have had someone take her life away because of jealously. Rest In peace. I miss you Selena. Much love and kisses

MY FAMILY SAW THE MOVIE WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT ON VIDEO. WE HAVE SEVEN GIRLS FROM THE AGES OF 7-15 AND THEY ALL ENJOYED IT. TO THIS DAY THE GIRLS ARE OLDER AND HAVE CHILDREN OF THEIR OWN, WE STILL WATCH THE MOVIE AND EVERYTIME IT JUST BRINGS US TO TEARS. SOMEONE SO YOUNG DYING TRAGICALLY IS ALWAYS IN OUT THOUGHTS.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS.

first time i herd your music i was touched it was so beautiful,i was 7 when i first herd of you.i loved your music it comferted me when i felt alone.i felt we were almost alike kids to made me feel like i didnt belong but i held my head high because you did,you were so brave and beautiful.a gift from god .when i saw the movie of your life i was so amazed the world got a chance to know you,hear your music and touch our lives.you truly were a beautiful person,inyour fans hearts and your family you live on.i hope you are at peace thank you for your music
