Q. What was Selena Quintanilla-Perez's family life like?
A. growing up her family lost everything when she was 9. Her father's restaurant went out of business, and the family had to move in with relatives and even went onto food stamps and all that. but at the same time, her family was always amazingly close. Relatives have said how much Selena confided in her father and mother, and how close they were. Suzette said the 4 year age difference didn't affect them either, and that they were extremely close and had a wonderful relationship and told each other everything. Her and A.B. were close too. Her married life was good too. The day before she died she told her mom and sister her and Chris were planning to start a family, and she had a doctors appoitment the following tuesday to get a birth control device removed. She had a tag in her bathroom that read "Selena and Chris Forever" and the couple were in the process of buying 10 acres and designing a dream house. so yeah. the Quintanillas were a tight crew and remain so today.
