REMEMBERING SHAKIR STEWART'S BIRTHDAY

T Apr 09, 2009

I just wanted to acknowledge Mr Shakir Stewart's birthday, Sunday April 12th. Rest in Peace

Gone Too Soon

T Mar 11, 2009

I have to be honest, I never heard of Mr. Shakir Stewart until Nov 2, 2008. It wasn't until this tragedy occurred that most of the world learned of this young, ambitious, driven, intelligent brother. The barrage of news reports left me wanting to know as much as I could about this young man. I have read some of the kindest words about Mr. Stewart and how inspiring he was to those around him, which makes it very sad for his short life to end this way. From everything I've read, he was a genuinely good and respectable guy. I send prayers for all who loved Shakir and seek strength and closure. May God bring peace to his family and friends.

TO THE STEWART FAMILY

RICCI AND KAREN JONES Nov 11, 2008

To the family of Shakir
May you find strength and peace during this time and always. Shakir and our son attended St. Mary's in Berkeley, California, and graduated together. Our son spoke so highly of Shakir, his drive, his intelligence, his respect for others, his determination. We knew, even as the boys were becoming men, that Shakir would be a fine man, good father and devoted husband.
Our sincere condolences to Kenneth, Porsche and Deborah.
Ricci and Karen Jones.
