Shelley Winters Tribute

I was very fortunate to have met Shelley Winters for a very brief time while living in S.L. Tahoe CA. Few people I've known were ever as nice to me as Shelley Winters was then and affected my life in such a profound and positive way in such a short time that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Somehow she just really liked me and wanted to introduce me to other celebrities and even asked me if I was interested in acting but I had just too important of a prior commitment with the government and somehow she knew and understood that I couldn't say what that was. She gave me her business card and asked me to call her so I did and she gave me acting lessons to help me with my mission and was so encouraging and never asked for anything in return. I can never repay her for what she did for me and so many others. Shelly Winters was a very original, unique and the kindest person I've ever met.
