born in larry's river ns to thomas henry petipas and marine annie avery. much later on in sophie's life her mother died of tb in 1911 and then her father married a woman who did not like sophie that much so at the age of 16 sophie left ns at the age of 18. she worked for the brothmans and this is where she met her husband adrien benedict tremblay and later they married and had children.
