Thomas Fields Tribute

Thomas lived a short, but rich life. He touched many people: at school, as a  volunteer fire fighter and as a member of Evergreen Baptist.

When I learned of Thomas' overdose I must say that I was not shocked. We all knew Thomas had fought with his demons for many years. He always seemed so close to reaching for something better but just never made it.

Thomas' friends will remember him as a guy with a big heart . No matter how bad things got for him personally, he always had time for his friends. The las t time I saw him, he was shopping for a little present for a girl from school who was feeling down. He was a great guy. We're all going to miss him!

Thomas meant the world to us. The things he has been through  in the last years  were  largely beyond his control. He was a beautiful boy and we will always feel his absence in our hearts.

From the time he was little, Thomas  always  faced adversity and mostly he overcame it. We don't blame him for anything; he tried his best, but sometimes life throws you curves that no one can hit.

He was a caring soul and we will always miss him.
