I really can only say I wish them healing and peace.

My daughter who was 14 at the time. Security in Calgary is there, although I really don't think it is as professional or secure as it could be. The sequester area for the passengers is make-shift at most and I do believe that more can be done to get security protocols as the Calgary International Airport has.

The person who did this should be SENT back to his homeland of Dandong, China and let them take the burden of his incarceration, which should be PERMANENTLY. He is a very mentally unwell individual who needs to be cared for with medication and psycho-social counselling for the rest of his life.

Peace to the family of this man.

I did not know Tim but after reading various articles, it sounds like he was a free spirit with a heart of gold. My heart goes out to his friends and family....and may he rest in peace.

I didn't know Tim until the story of his death was broadcast by the news. Like most Canadians, I'm shocked by the way our Justice system is handling V. Li, and I feel powerless to help. But I do want to be able to say something in support of the family and of the memory of Tim.

To the family of Tim McLean, my heart felt sorrow for your loss.

I haven't heard of this story until now and it is heartbreaking. How can someone do this to another human being? It is truly horrible and I hope that justice is served to the fullest extent of the law! My heart goes out to this young man's family.

I just heard about this story yesterday,and I'm truly heartbrooken ,I mean how the hell can a group of people be on that same bus and watch some one die in that manner,and then for that god damn idiot witness to say that he tride to help Tim after he told the bus driver to stop the bus and let everyone of.My god this man was in the seat right infront of Tim turn around saw what was happing, so why didn't he grab the guy knocked him out or something" excatly the lying ass bastard didn't try to help he ran his his cowardly ass of the bus just like every one else,I mean god damn the man had a fucking knife a KNIFE!!! and no attempt to help him ,Look befor anyone try to defend these people I will tell you right now dont,because I will not waste my time reading what the hell for those people let him die so i find them just as guitly as the man who killed him ,so if anyone wanna say that I probly would have did the same thing those people,well guess what I would have for the simply fact that would want someone to help me if i ever needed it,with all that said Tim RIP and may god always be with you I will for as long as I can keep you and your family in my preys

I didn't know Tim or anybody involved, but I'm deeply touched by this incident. How can this happen?! I sure hope the guy gets life in prison where he can rot because the death penalty is to easy of a death. I feel so bad for the family. I'm sure what i'm feeling is nothing compared to what they are feeling, but I'm praying for Tim and his family anyway. I hope the best for them and his friends. God Bless.

I have a son, 19, and I believe, in some way, he is like Tim, loving and caring and full of life, I believe your son will be around you always, he was needed somewhere else. I want the family to know, even strangers care. Bless your family..

Though Tim has been taken away from you, he obviously left a memory of an active, full of life young man who loved his family and what life had to offer. He was a great gift and will remain in the memories of many...even strangers.

im from bell gardens california and was at the gotj when the group twiztid announced this horrible tragedy and i just wanna say that i havent got him off my mind since i think about tim mclean every single day i didnt know him but i feel so sad for the family i cannot imagine the pain they are going through my prayers are with all of u RIP TIM MCLEAN MMFCL!!!!!
