Timothy John Mcguire Tribute

Timothy john mcguire died at the age of 54 years old of lung cancer. He was so full of fun and love and joy. H e loved life. He was a brillant , Husband , The best dad , The best son , Best father in law ever. People were very fond on him.

But sadley the troubles started in 31st of october 2009, when he had a very sharpe migraine. My mum didnt want him to go to work because she knew he was very ill. But  he was stuborn and went to work anyway. As he was parking the car he crashed the car then was later rushed into hospital. They ran tests and found he had a mass on the brain , but later on they found a shadow on the lung. He had the mass on the brain removed but he got an infection so chemotherpy and raidotherpy was out of the question coz he was far to weak. After christmas and new year my dad went to clatterbridge hospital and had 5 weeks of chemotherpy and radiotherpy.

But in Febuary 2010 ... things had got worse and we was told the cancer had spread to the liver, bone , and groin and it was spreading. My mum was told he had a matter of weeks , months or maybe a year if we were lucky.

He came home but he wasnt the same as we knew him but he was still loverble but he looked so frail and we tried to make him as happy as possble.

On the 4th my dad had taken a turn for the worse and he fell into a very deep sleep in a coma state.

sadley he passed a away at 6am in the morning.

My dad was a brave man and he but up a big battle but what killed him wasnt just the cancer , he also had infection and newmona thats what killed him in the end on top of the cancer.

My dad had so much love to give everybody , but my mum jackie, amanda  ( his daughter and his grand daugther was his world and we always joked calling each other timmys angels.

My dad was a family man and he loved to have fun and he loved going for a pint with his mates and just leading a normal life. My dad was one in a millon and he was very brave and he was very loved by his family.

The familys hopes and wishes now - are to raise awarness of this killer disease and to raise money for southport hospice, macmillan cancer trust , marie carie cancer care. and we hope and pray that one day there will be a cure and we hope people will be more aware of their own bodys. this page is to rember Tim as we knew and loved him.

He always loved jokes and his one passion was planes and war stories. He always loved being on the go and he loved travling. My Nanna told me some funny stories bout when he was young and he was forever causing mischeife. But the one true love in his life was my mum.  Timothy John Mcguire , son , husband , dad , grandpa, friend - you will be missed so much. You will forever be in our hearts , and you live on.

His favrotie word was " twaaaannnnnggggg!!! " he will forver be our twanger and he lives on in our hearts. He may be gone but he will never be forgotton He now lives on thro - his daughter Amanda Jane Mcguire  and his grandaughter Hayley Anne Jane Jones.
