Hey Little brother. How are you doing up there? Just wanted to let you know Grandmother passed away last night and she should be up there with you. I know she is in a better place with you but it is still hard for us because now we are going to miss her as much as we miss you. I love you Todd One and I will talk you later.

An Angel I never met!

Tina Feb 24, 2009

I never knew Todd Doxey existed, I just happened to be surfing the internet and had read about him. It's NOT often when you hear of a young man being so talented, determined and pleasant. From what I have been hearing, Todd had a big heart full of love. Reading about him just makes me wish I would have met him. It's good to know that he is in a better and safer place. He is an angel that belongs with the other angels.
There is a Football Heavan just for Todd!

Todd, A Special Young Man

Kathy Anderson Jan 18, 2009

I never met Todd but my father did. My father is Bud Maloney, Hoover Class of 1942 and former Union/Tribune sportswriter. As an alumni and sportswriter, my dad has always taken an interest in Hoover sports. When Todd was at Hoover football practice my dad often stopped by to observe and watch the boys practice. My dad would walk the sidelines and sometimes chat with the coaches. Apparently Todd noticed my dad hanging around and after a while he would say hi to my dad and ask him how he was doing. My dad was impressed that a young man would take the time to acknowledge an old guy to whom he had not been introduced. My dad was also impressed with Todd's talent and thought Todd would do great things in college and beyond. My dad was looking forward to Todd's picture hanging in the Hoover gym one day as inspirtation to other Hoover athletes. My prayers are with Todd's family and friends as I also mourn Todd's untimely death. As evidenced by this site, Todd was a special young man.

HOLIDAY BOWL

Well Little Todd you do it again. Packed Qualcomm stadium for all to see your coming out party and you did not disappoint. Your whole family and friends were there spread out all over the staduim to see you play. Your number shown brightly for all to see and man oh man it was heaven. I get goose bumps just thinking how well you played considering all the pressure there was this glowing effect around you the entire game. I am really happy I got a chance to see you put on a show. Qualcomm stadium will never be the same. You and your teammates of Oregon really had a spectacular game to the end which is typical of the way you have always played keeping people in the seats to the end and I must say it was worth it. I cannot wait till we see you again because this performance was like heaven so smooth. Hit me up next time you are in town, I look forward to the visit bring me some Oregon ducks gear also I will wear it with honor. Got to get back to work but miss you and talk with you soon. Lots of Love Uncle Tex!! God Bless!
