It was a great shock to hear of Tope sudden death.
Even though I hadn't seen him in years, he calls my Mum regularly - such a caring soul.

May his sweet soul rest in perfect peace!
Till we meet again to join the host of heaven and worship our maker for eternity.

May God comfort your children and family - today and always AMEN

This is to express my heart felt condolence to the Kila Family. I knew Tope in a Church I used to attend. He was very friendly, warm, polite and kind. What struck me most was his deep love for God and his desire to always be in HIS presence. I know that he is resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that God, the Father of Comfort will strengthen his sisters, mum, children and family members. I pray that Gods' amazing grace would abound towards you and sustain all of you.

What a rude shock to hear about Tope's sudden passing!!

It seems just like the proverbial yesterday when we worked together on a night shift - Tope was one of the friendiliest and most jovial colleagues I have ever had - never a dull moment in sight - joking, gisting etc. Ensuring an otherwise tedious and boring night shelf filling went swiftly and of course the groups' occassional breakfast at McDonalds!

What can I say?! But praise God for the Truth: that you knew Christ and therein lies our comfort, knowing that you are resting in the Bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ!

May The Good Lord send His Holy Spirit - Our Comforter to comfort every member of your family and friends too - Amen!

May your gentle soul continue to rest in the peace of God - Amen!

I still find it difficult to believe Tope is gone. If I had known you were hours away, i would continued to talk and talk with you for as long as i can. You arranged to be at my place on monday 04/05/09 to collect your belated birthday cake and get to know my wife the more. You were to be our guest for the whole of Tuesday but it pleases GOD to call you home. HE knows better. You were such a lovely person, a friend and actually a brother, a very rare one. The very short period I got acquanted with you will forever remain with me. I will cherish it until that day when we meet to part no more. As the bible say ; the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised in corruptible, and we shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. This is my consolation. You slept [not died] in CHRIST and I know you will ressurect on the last day. Your last moment tells us that JESUS CHRIST can come anytime so it's a warning to all of us he left behind to turn towardds CHRIST who knows and understands all. I just pray that GOD grants us all the grace to bear your depature.

Had I known that conversation we had on thursday would be the last, i would have stayed on the phone for hours! Being your ever grateful and jovial self, you called yet again to say thank you for what I considered an insignificant gift. Your words of encouragement and motivation always came ,unsolicited,at the right time. I am yet to come to terms with your sudden departure. I pray God gives Funke,Sis Dupe and above all, your precious Mum the grace to pull through these trying times. I feel highly privileged to have known you. Rest in peace, my beloved brother.
