Macedonian pop star Tose Proeski passed away on Tuesday after suffering a horrible car crash in Croatia.

The singer, whose fan base rivals that of Madonna in the Balkans, died almost instantly when his car collided with a truck near the town of Nova Gradiska.

Proeski was the most beloved teen pop idol in Macedonia, even representing his country in the Eurovision song contest in 2004. He was also a UNICEF ambassador.

Wednesday has been called a day of national mourning in Macedonia.

minatata godina na 5 octomvri rece deka slednata godina ke bide uste pogolem koncert i toa navistina se sluci sinoka iako te nema bese prisuten vo srcata na site 40 000 luge sto sinoka bea tamu megju koi i jas so moeto semejstvo.Bese bolno i tazno no isto taka bev srekna deka deka tolku luge se sobraa da ti pokazat kolku te sakame i kolku si prisuten vo nasite srca.Se nadevam deka nekade od gore go gledase seto toa.TE SAKAM ,SEKOGAS KE BIDES PRISUTEN VO MOJOT ZIVOT
