I remember the first time a school shooting affected a nation (Columbine) and I'm sad to see that nobody learned from it one generation of high school students later. Peace be with you and your families, children.

Vilpitön osanottoni kaikille Jokelan tragedian uhrien omaisille, läheisille ja ystäville. Kaikesta raa'an veriteon aiheuttamasta tuskasta huolimatta toivon että pahuus pystyttäisiin korvaamaan hyvyydellä - hyvyys ja rakkaus ovat lopulta suurintakin pahuutta voimakkaampia. Niin vaikealta kuin se välillä epäilemättä tuntuukin, hyvyyden ja rakkauden viestiä kannattaa viedä eteenpäin.

my name is Enrique (from Spain). I studied 9 months in Finland in 2004-05 probably, the best 9 months of my life.

'It is clear that this is a call for love. There has been a rash of lovelessness expressed in schools across the world.

This is a symptom, you understand.

And young people who express themselves in violence are also expressing that the world, as well as schools, need to give more love. Young people readily take on the cross of the world.'

This is not to add blame to anyone. It is a seeming accident. At the same time, heed needs to be taken.

When love is offered its rightful place on a grand scale, when negativity has drawn its last breath, such things will not happen.'
