A. Mom was an only child for a number of years until her brothers Jim & Dale came along. she was a little spoiled & not accustomed to having to share. one day while she was eating a box of animal crackers the boys asked her for some. relentless to share she bit the heads off the cookis & gave her brothers the 'butts.

A. Mom loved school. had many friends. nickname was 'Blondie'. she loved to dance. she attended HS in Marysville, Wa. recieved several class pins from boys, all gold except for one silver one. when she gave the pins back she couldn't remember who gave her the silver one, ha!!

A. it was always Mom's desire to see Scotland. she & I had plans to go in 2001. unfortunately she had a massive stroke on April 29th, 2000, same day as our daughters wedding.

A. I'm not sure if Mom visited many museums but trying the cuisine most definately & if she didn't find it to her satisfaction she had no problem walking into the kitchen to tell the chef what she thought! that was my Mom!

A. she never got the chance to find out but I doubt she would have felt at 'home' anywhere other than the US. she never wanted to live too far from family, esp. from me, her only daughter.

A. though I know she wouldn't have lived anywhere other than the USA, I think she would have over extended a trip to Scotland once she discovered what the men there wear under their kilts, & I would have been right there with here.
