Walter Cannon Jr. will always be present in my heart. I remember meeting Walter when I first became an apprentice in Local Union No. 3. I remember seeing Walter before apprentice school and always hearing a great story about the day he had with that contractor. All I can say is that they were great stories. I have had the priviledge to know him my entire career in Local 3 and I know that he was the first person ALOT of people went to when they needed help with anything, anywhere at any time. He was not just there for a friend, he was there for anybody who asked him for anything. I am happy to have known him and will be even happier thinking about him frequently the rest of my life.
