Walter Cannon, Jr. Tribute

He was special to me, being my first nephew born when I was only 11 years old. I felt so grown up when my sister Sue and Walter Sr. asked me to babysit for him. Sheesh, he was so frail and tiny. But I changed his skinny assed diapers and loved staying overnite in Bayside taking care of this little precious baby. Too funny right? Little, frail and skinny?

How did he turn into that big man that was larger than life? Which he surely became.

I'm sorry I missed so many years of it...and I'm not too exactly sure why. But...I'm glad tho, my last meeting with Walter was fun and we had quite a few laffs that night.

Since his passing, I've had the pleasure of meeting people who knew him and loved him also. And they all made me feel so very proud that my nephew Walter became the big man with the big heart and had so very many friends who loved him dearly.

Loved you, Walter...you'll be forever in my heart...
