Willaim Hutt was the world's greatest Shakespearean Actor.  He began acting with the Stratford Troup nearly 40 years ago, and appeared in over 130 Stratford Shakespearean plays in his life.

He was reknowned for his white hair, his deep voice and his command of the stage.  He had a love affair with theatre and his audience loved him back.  He was named to the Order of Canada in 1969.

I saw him act on a trip to Canada and loved him.

He had been diagnosed with leukemia and died today in his hometown at the age of 87.
