A Year to Remember

July 16, 2009 -- Hello and thank you to everyone who has viewed our memorial tribute video for Caylee Anthony. Each and every comment has been appreciated and all of the personal feedback and kind responses have meant a lot to us. Our goal in creating it, however, was simply to find a way to honor a little girl's memory, after having been deeply moved by the sad story of her short life.

In doing so, we'd hoped the video would reach others who've been similarly affected, but most importantly, serve as a reminder of whose story this actually is, despite all of the characters involved. Their voices may be louder, but at the heart of this story is a child who lost her life, and her chance to grow up and live it. Her death is a tragedy that should never be forgotten.

Having now sadly arrived at the one-year anniversary of the day Caylee’s name and unforgettable image first reached into so many of our lives, today is an opportunity for each of us to remember Caylee and honor her life. So, we'd like to observe this occasion by publicly paying our respects to her, and expressing our shared sorrow with everyone whose heart has been touched by her story. It’s wonderful to see so many who never got the chance to meet her willing to stand up for her now.

Please join us in promising Caylee that she will not be forgotten. The outpouring of support for this child is a true testament to the human spirit and a moving tribute to her short but precious life. And, if Caylee’s story reminds the rest of us to appreciate our loved ones a little more and hold the children in our lives a little closer, then, in that way, it rises above being just a tragedy.

what a beautifull video it tells the truth in such a beautifull way may god bless little caylee and keep her close to him as we all keep her close to our hearts we the whole world will never forget this little angel and may we all find justice for her caylee you are loved by all of us who never knew you personaily we love you and will hopefully get justice for you sweet angel as you look down on all of us you no you been loved by so many and we all will hold you close in our prayers eavh and every day rip little angel

I thought about making a tribute video for Caylee, and you did it! I could not have done it any better, though, your poem is so touching and tells the story so well. All I can do is say a heartfelt thank you for creating such a perfect tribute. It is a much needed light within this tragically dark story. My hat's off to you. Thank you very, very much.
