I have had my heart stomped on many times and I have recovered from most of it...but this takes the cake. I don't think I can recover from this one. My best friend is gone. Even though he didn't know me...I knew him...and so did the rest of the world...what a great man. We will miss his jokes, his personality, his ability to make a bad day turn good...we love you Bernie and will truly be missed.

The Morris family in Fort Washington Maryland, watched the Bernie Mac Comedy Shows, and his TV Show faithfully. He has crossed over, but will never be forgotten. He gave us many laughs, and his jokes will be told forever. We The Morris Family encourage the Mac Family to continue to have Faith in Jesus. The world is mourning with you, because in our hearts, Bernie was an icon just like Richard Pryor.

I can't believe you are gone. It seems like just yesterday every site was saying you had entered the hospital and you would be released soon.

You left way too soon. I think you had so much more of your life ahead of you. I hope you are having fun with some of the other great comedians up there. R.I.P Bernie.
