Memories of Princess Diana

My Memory

juliet (Aug 30, 2008)

Today(1st Sept)is such a beautiful day-the leaves are beginning to drop and there is
golden sunshine..a fitting day to remember Princess Diana's funeral day
11 years ago at St Paul's.

Her work on this earth was completed, she was here for a reason, she left two fine Princes
and a charity legacy with the landmines campaign. She is still around us all
and is so happy where she is now....where there is no war and no pain.

My Memory

juliet (Aug 30, 2008)

I remember seeing Princess Diana sitting in the back of a limousine by herself,as it drove out of Buckingham Palace,on her way to the Cenotaph in November, for the Remembrance Service.I noticed she was wearing a black dress, she wore no hat,and looked apprehensive. She was very pale and looked fragile.

On this day,1 Sept 2008, I remember her as a luminous figure. The day she died was a turning point for the whole world.Spirituality has been damaged with her passing.

She was indeed "The People's Princess."

May she rest in perpetual light.

Diane M. (Jul 01, 2008)

Dearest Diana ... Oh, not a day goes by when so many of us think of you with such bittersweet joy. I know, for myself, that since we share the same name, I feel honored to do so. You carried yourself with such grace and strength and courage during the most difficult times in your life. And we thank you for your example of honesty and integrity in the midst of heartache and pain. We miss you, Diana ... God grant your soul some peace now.

"A Queen in Heaven"

Alice C. Bateman (Oct 08, 2007)

I didn't know Lady Diana personally in life, am just one of the millions of people who loved this beautiful woman. The other day, I wrote a poem I'd like to share here:

Not sure if you'll be able to link straight through from here or if you'll need to copy and paste, but I wanted to share and hope you enjoy.

Love and Many Blessings to All,
