But my heart goes out to each and everyone of you
And the families that hurt
Cause they have to watch their loved ones descend beneath the dirt
As the souls rise
Tears stream from all your eyes
Knowing you did not deserve any of this
All of you we will miss
To the cynical analysis of a gunman
Who decided to commit a deadly sin
Makes you down right rotten
Your actions will never be forgotten
You couldnt control the rage
Inside your soul
Why couldnt you just quit
We may forgive but we will never forget
Lets come together and figure out how to downsize the violence
There is no time for silence
Nor is there a reason to go mute
Cause we are all here for the NIU tribute!
