This is What Happens in TENNESSEE
Petition for Orders of Protection Petitioner/ Julie A. James
Respondent/ David L. Epperson II
(6) Events and incidents that has been subject to threatened with or placed in fear of abuse, abuse, stalking or sexual assault by Respondent.
David L. Epperson II during and on numerous times in the marriage made claim that if I divorced him he would shoot me with his pistol- sometimes mockingly and sometimes with intent.
On February 28, 2008, David made statements and behaviors to family and friends while waving around this pistol, and transporting it around in his Nissan Pickup truck that he was going to “Kill some people”- on this date, from the Bristol Regional Medical Center Emergency room three (3) Bristol police officers escorted David Epperson to the mental facility of Riverview- Wellmont center 108 North street, Bristol, Tennessee 423-224-6000, in which he was admitted for psychiatric inpatient treatment -physcian committed for eminent endangerment of self and others. Although the police officers did not search his vehicle and remove the pistol hidden under the drivers seat, they did allow him contact with his sister Sheila Hodges who removed the pistol from the vehicle to prevent criminal charges upon David. He was discharged on Sunday, March 2, 2008, and moved in with his mother at 220 Elizabeth street, Bristol, Tennessee, and where the gun was supposedly hidden away from his access. Witness to Behaviors leading to hospital Admission: Lilburn Rhymer Bristol Police Department
On March 8, 2008, David drove his Nissan pickup straight into the front yard with speed at 5:10am, bright lights gleaming into the living room window to cause fear, then came into the house making the statement that his recently deceased ex-wife number 2 (Crystal Walsh), had been asleep on her couch in the same position as mine when the teenagers ran into her house and caught her on fire. I told him to not park in the yard again, and he smirked of his intent. This information was given to my attorney to file for a protection order, but she failed to compel the urgency. Email to Attorney
David Epperson then supposedly applied at the drivers license division for a permit to carry a handgun without disclosing his recent admittance to a mental facility or threats to harm others with a weapon. He has continuously ridden his Harley motorcycle around my neighborhood, downshifting to cause loud muffler backfire to make me aware of his presence and those of his assisting and abetting family members. On May 14, 2008, a Bristol police offer was assigned to assist with property removal from the residence - David incorporated his family to attempt entry into the residence claiming he still owned it and could allow anyone in it at any time. He is not sole owner of this property and was not awarded possession of the residence. During this event, David making conversation with the police officer just out of nowhere says to the officer that he just got his permit to carry his handgun legally now… and in an attempt to not make it the perceived threat towards me…he then stated to the officer that “he wasn’t going to lose it over domestic violence”. And then carried out two shotguns to his truck. Witness: Bill Odom, Bristol Police Officer assigned to Peace Duty May 14, 2008.
Then on May 21, 2008, at 11:03 pm , David parked near the intersection of Maple street and Maryland avenue (residence) and sat with lights out except parking brakes, just idling for fifteen minutes, opening driver side door once to spit. Near enough I could view his license plates and visually see it was his vehicle. I called 911 to advise of the suspicious activity of David and request a police officer to drive by. Confirmed by Sheriff Blaine Wade that dispatch call was made. No response from the Bristol Police Department.
He was advised on May 14, 2008, not to call me , that any other property pickup arrangements need to be coordinated through the police department for which they will make contact by telephone to me of a designated date and time expectation, yet he continues to call and leave messages wanting me to return calls to him and make the arrangements. Witness: Bill Odom, Bristol Police Department
He has abused the court with contempt charges made with false allegations to the extent of even claiming his daughter was my biological daughter to try obtain benefit from court. He has propagated statements claiming I abused and mistreated his daughter, leading others to conclude but that I did offensiable harm to his child. Yet he fails to tell anyone that this so called irprehensible abuse was the fact that I shut off the teenagers cell phone to accommodate a bill she incurred or justifies this truth with his mental reasoning that the cell phone is his daughters life and happiness and therefore I have mistreated his daughter and I shall be punished.
On July 21, 2008, Bristol Police Detective McCalliger entered my home without my permission, and then waved in a police officer. She purported that David Epperson hadn’t filed charges so it wasn’t a false police report. When asked why they were there threatening to arrest me then. She refused to allow me to file a police report for violation of the protection order not to harass or his family to harass. Email sent to Chief of Police that his officers are to not come back without a legitimate arrest warrant.
On July 20, 2008, Bristol Police Department harassed me on behalf of a false claim by David Epperson, and threatened arrest and demanded I allow him entrance into the home. This was made by David Epperson and his family who admittedly had property stolen from my yard. Officers refused my right to have charges filed against these people, yet behaved indignant and without cause or legality to threaten and harass me. Police department scoffed and ignored, refusing to enforce my protection order against these people. Notification to Police Chief Blaine Wade was made.
On May 20, 2008 Bristol Police Department was called thru 911 to dispatch a patrol for the suspicious stalking activity of David Epperson. The police department failed to respond to the call. Notification to Police Chief Blaine Wade has been made at each incident.
