I was wondering, even with as bad as most people perceive the war, does anyone have any good stories from deployment? Maybe something you did or social activities with friends? What about for military family members? Welcoming your loved one home? When I was stationed in Kirkuk we actually did a couple of Karaoke nights. It got pretty silly! I actually have a video on my computer of one of the Arabic civilian contractors singing, "I want it that way" by the Backstreet boys. He was making QUITE the spectacle of himself. They staged a scene were the base Security Forces handcuffed him and escorted him off stage for being lewd ^^ it was really funny.
