Mom's Fruit Cobbler

Tia Marie Dec 04, 2007

My mother wasn't much to make sweets, but I always remember one particular thing that she did soo well. It was her Fruit Cobbler. It isn't for the weak of heart though! It isn't really very healthy but it is oh so yummy! Here is the recipe 1/2 Cup Butter 2 Cups Self-rising flower 2 Cups white sugar 2 cups of milk 3 1/2 cups of fruit Directions: Preheat over to 350 F, melt butter in a 9 x 13" baking pan. In a medium bowl stir flour, sugar and milk; batter will be slightly lumpy. Pour mixture on top of the melted butter in the baking pan. Then drop the fruit in the batter! Bake for one hour or until golden brown.
