Remember a friend

I was kind of a geeky gal in school and after my mom died before the start of my Junior year I didn't keep friends too well. But Tilde was different. She was a part of the very popular and overly pretty crowd but for some reason she still hung out with me. I remember getting into horrible trouble being around her, but she befriended me and was public with me regardless of what others thought. We were like Apples and Oranges. Me a super geeky and kind of dowdy looking gal and Tilde the gorgeous, girly socialite. It was a strange match but it always seemed to work.
