While most of us did not know you personally, or of your struggles, your acting was inspirational. You were much more than just the characters you played but they are a part of you. I will always remember you as William in "A Knight's Tale." I hope you had the chance to "change the stars," because I know you have inspired me to change mine.

Oh my god, what a shock I couldn't believe it I had to double check. I was devastated, especially just thinking about his daughter growing up without a dad . It's so sad. It's absolutely Tragic.
I'll miss him so much. R.I.P heath .

Fantastic actor who met such a tragic end. Will forever be immortalized. Not the next James Dean but the first Heath Ledger. May your daughter grow up a wonderful woman who has nothing but great things to hear about her father.

Wow. What a complete shock. Its sad to see such a talented actor leave us so soon. He still had a long and successful career ahead of him. He will be greatly missed by all. All of his great works will never be forgotten. I guess God wanted to have him up with Him, to admire one of his great creations.

I am totally shocked and deeply saddned...He was a good actor and he will be missed my thoughts go out to his daughter and family...i feel terrible for his daughter who will never get a chance to really know who her dad was:( Rest in peace Heath.
