I love Heath's work, he was truly an inspiration to others. I've heard it said that his career was defined not always by the roles he took, but the ones that he passed on. Very fitting. His role as the Joker was so raw, gritty and real, easily my favorite. Like other fans, I felt like I knew him, and was deeply saddened by the news that he was gone. Even now, a year later, I get teary-eyed when I see an interview with him, or the images taken after his death. My thoughts and prayers will always go out to his family and his beautiful daughter. Thank you, Heath, for the amazing work you did.

I have to say that I have followed his career, and was so glad to hear that he was going to be in the Dark Knight. then to hear that he was gone, I know that I spent alot of time crying for Michelle and Madeline, I know, having lost my father, that all little girls need and want that contact with Daddy..... My heartfelt sympathies to both of you.

MY DAUGHTER WHO IS 7 LOVED HIM IN THE BROTHERS GRIMM AND HOOKED ON HIS FILMS TOO SHE KNEW MOST OF HIS LINES THE SONGS IN THE FILM OF 10 THINGS I ABOUT YOU AND SAID HOW COULD SHE HIM HES FUNNY AND A LOVELY GUY. HIS MANY FILMS ALL SHOWED THE TALENT HE HAD AND ITS SUCH A PITY HE HAD TO DIE SO YOUNG. A CREDIT TO HIS PARENTS AND HIS DAUGHTER MATILDA WILL BE SO LUCKY TO SAY THAT WAS HER DAD.
