While living in our apartment in Las Colinas, Jessica wanted to make lasagna for dinner one night. She purchased all of the necessary ingredients as she was not going to use anything out of a box or can. I mean she even got Italian sausage from a butcher in natural casing. All said and done, it took her over 8 hours to prepare and make (6 minutes to eat) what turned out to be the best lasagna I have ever had even to this day. She never cooked it again, but I will never forget how hard she worked and how much she wanted us to enjoy something she cooked from scratch.
