A. The first one that comes to mind is his neighborhood friend, Billy when we lived in Moreno Valley. We moved around a lot and switched school's a lot, so it was hard to make decent friends. Billy was the first one who I can recall Kevin calling his Best friend.

A. Kevin Ryan's family life was rather simple. He was the oldest of four children. His mother would say he was "the cutiest baby she had". He still lived at home, helping around the house with various handy man jobs. He had a big heart and was always helping someone. His younger siblings, Shawna and Kyle still lived at home so most of the family shared a meal or two together on a weekly basis. He was quite and a bit private about how he spent his time away from home but he had a constant presence in the home. One that has been left empty since the day he passed away. The Cullen house will never be the same without him in it!

A. Kevin Ryan has three siblings, he was the oldest of the four kids in his family. His sister, Amy was one of his best friends since the day she was born. His sister, Shawna was the sister he picked on and at the same time, was a bit over protective of her. And his little brother, Kyle and him were like night and day but they did spend time together talking about movies, and sometimes cars. He had a unique relationship with each one of his siblings, always being a constant presence in their lives. He was closest with Amy, they had a bond that few words can describe.

A. Being Kevin's sister and best friend, most of our memorable family stories, I would have been apart of. One that comes to mind is the day we moved from California. None of us had left the state before and we were all soo excited to see another state besides where wer grew up. We were like the Beverly Hillbillies, packing up our belongings in a U-Haul trailer with the four of us kids in a pick up truck along with our family pets. I remember Kevin being soo excited when we crossed the state line into Nevada. We fought yawns and heavy eyelids just so we could see the city lights in Carson City. And even once we got to the hotel room for the night, we still couldn't go to sleep from the excitement of traveling across the country to our soon to be home of Pennsylvania. I will never forget our first road trip together. It was the first of many.

A. Kevin was far from Athletic in spite of him being built like a football player. He didn't play sports in high school but his passion for cars and trucks was endless. He was a true grease monkey at heart.

Q. Did Kevin Ryan Cullen enjoy the arts – painting, writing, or music?
A. Kevin's idea of arts was painting trucks and detailing them so the "shined like glass" :). He was rather good in heart class in middle school, Mom still has some of his work on the wall at home. We inherited that side from our Father. And Kevin loved music, listening to it that is. He has hundreds of CD's, playing them mostly in his truck on his many driving adventures. He loved to put in a good CD and turn it up load, jamming to it in the truck so loud that he always missed his phone calls. He was never much of a writer and only wrote when he had to in school. He did give the birthday cards to family and would write a few words in there but that was the extent of it.

A. Kevin LOVED food. He was far from a picky eater but the greasier the better. He loved a good hoagie with everything on it, or a cheesesteak. He was a fan of Beer & wings, esp the hot ones that made him teary eyed. Junk food was something he enjoyed from time to time. I guess to label him, he was a steak and potatoes type of guy. He was never worried about eating healthy or watching what he ate. You always found him eating from a bag of Doritos, making popcorn, ect. When he was in the hospital, Dad joked that Kevin would probably be craving a hoagie by now, and wondered if there was a way we could put it in through his IV line. I miss going out to eat with him and find myself even craving food that he loved now that he is gone. I will always eat burgers and cheesesteaks for you Kev- I love ya!

A. Kevin Ryan never visited another country or even talked about visiting another coutry for that matter. I am not sure if he would have felt at home in another country. I think he would have liked to travel to Ireland. I would have loved for us to travel and learn about our family ancestry together. And he probably only would have traveled that for, because I would have wanted him too. He was pretty content and happy with his simple life, and living every day to it's fullest.
