I went to the 1999 Brnds Hatch BTCC race where he raced alongside Laurent Aiello in the Nissan Primaras. I saw him in the pit lane before the race, smiling and shaking hands. I was only nine at the time and can't really remember a whole lot of it, but I distinctly remember seeing the name 'lesley' flash past infront of me...

Good memories.

R.I.P David Lesley, you will always be missed.

my family met david 30 years ago during his formula ford days,his smile lit up many a wet race track.always time for anyone,down tio earth so approachable by the ease he put people at. RIP DAVID,our sympathy to the family.
