About Patrick Hare

Memoriam

HARE , Patrick Lee
Age 28, born to eternal life on May 27, 1979.
Loving son of Devorah Ben-David and the late John L. Hare, Jr.; devoted brother of Ashby Ryan Hare; uncle of Madison Clark-Hare; great-grandson of the late Joseph and Alvina Kirchgassner, grandson of Gloria (Bob) Hartenstein and the late Robert Allen Ratzel; great-nephew and Godchild of Janice (Donald) Malcolm, nephew of Craig (Theresa) Hartenstein and of Allan (Karen) Ratzel.
On February 16, 2004 Patrick said good-bye to family and friends in Richmond, Virginia, and drove to the West Coast to pursue his dream of becoming a singer and an actor in L.A. He earned his membership in the Screen Actor's Guild and AFTRA, after demonstrating (among other skills) his proficiency as a unicyclist. While performing in commercial acting and film gigs, he identified a niche business need and founded "In the Loop Casting." As a gifted casting director and mentor, he advised fellow actors to "Always swing for the fences."
Patrick's true legacy is one of friendship, humor, caring, courage and professional integrity.
A seaside memorial will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Venice Beach (end of Windward Avenue). The family has established a Memorial Fund in Patrick's honor. To inquire about donations, please E-mail DBDRIC@aol.com
