Hyves is niet geschikt als herdenkingsplek, vond de Nederlandse ondernemer Richard Derks. Hij startte samen met een partner de site Respectance.com. Een soort Hyves voor overledenen. Investeerders stopten anderhalf miljoen euro in de site. Sites als Hyves bieden niet waar rouwenden om vragen, vindt Derks. ‘Onze site gaat niet over de doden, maar over de nabestaanden. Zij kunnen herinneringen met elkaar uitwisselen’. Respectance.com verdient aan advertenties en inschrijfgeld. (more)
