Born River Jude Bottom in Madras Oregon, River was born to poverty. His parents were missionaries. He and his family were also strict vegans. He and his siblings were forced to work as street performers in order to help support the family.

He had an extremely promising career in film, and a music band. He starred in 17 movies on television and the big screen from 1984-1994. He died of

an overdose of heroine and cocaine, with his brother present.

I Never Knew you but as far as memories go being a child watching Stand By Me and it being my favourite movie along with the great old soundtrack. Loving Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and his portrayal of Young Indy but most of all never getting over his portrayal of Christopher Chambers in Stand By Me. It was tragic enough watching it everytime and knowing the wonderful character died in the storyline :( But knowing the great person himself is no longer there is gone is gut upsetting. Will always remember him and Chris everytime i hear Stand By Me by Ben E.King R.I.P.

I have already paid my respects but I can't say enough good things about him.He made a terrible mistake,but it wasn't intentional,and he had so much to live for.I pray for any family who has lost loved ones to drugs,and that God will help see them through their pain.I'm sorry to all of those who lost him,I wished I could have met him. I miss my loved ones I have lost too.I'm sure that they have all met Riv up in Heaven,and they are all walking together next to God
