God bless you Alex, his wife and kids, and family. Alex was my best friend and the best man I ever knew, he helped me in so many ways as I did for him. Alex showed me the true meaning of a friend. The day we lost him was the hardest day in my life and I still cry to this day, I was part of the recovery team that night. I love you Alex and I know you smile down upon me and my family and believe my son knows who you are, you are uncle D, lol you would have been so proud brother. I pray that that the family, and Brenda and kids live through you Alex and can rejoice the life you lived and not mourn the one you lost. I love you Alex you were truly my brother Rest in Peace Gone but Never Forgotten

I met Sgt Dominguez in 08 at NTC while training in cali before our deployment...we were in sick call together for a couple days and i met a great man that took care of everyone around him including me...its been awhile since he passed and i still remember it as it was yesterday. I was thankful to meet a living angel that i will never forget! Thanks bro and one day we will reunite! “AI-YEE-AH!”

My most sincere condolences to: Brenda, his kids, parents and sister of Alex and all of his friends. He was a very happy guy with whom I shared a lot of high school memories including the day he came to me to tell me that he wanted to enroll in the Army. I also told him that there were other choices in life but he was very excited to serve his country and said that the Army would help him reach his goals. Two days before I learned of his death I was looking at some pictures of him and every time I think of him I remember the last time I saw him; he was very happy and in love…he was very proud to tell me how much he loved you, Brenda and that he wanted to marry you. To everyone who is suffering his loss…remember his smile and remember that he was proud to serve the country and although he was away from his family he left doing what he liked to do. Love always, Blanca

I just learned of the death of Sergeant Dominguez and deeply regret his loss. He was the father of two. His children will always remember how great of a man Dominguez was and will grow up to be as courageous as he was. Rest in peace Sergeant.
