I was the one who He sent to come in from the cold to sit with them and meet them at their last meal. I had no idea why God had sent me there until the Monday after I heard of the accident. My friend Dawn Mudford wrote the story and it was on the front page of the Chatham free press. I had the honor of meeting them minutes before they were gone. I have now finished my Master Degree in Theology. I had just finished my Bachelor of Religious Ed when I ate with them that night. I spoke with Jean about it. Now they are with Him.
This story has always bothered me ever since I first heard it. Why does God call home the good ones? These women sound like they were a great asset to the community.
Thank you for enriching our lives and hearts with your love.
You are home now sisters. Be with God.
