Bill we will miss you greatly; you were always so kind and helpful to us and others. You had wonderful values and insight, which we’ve very much appreciated. You made tremendous contributions to working people and their unions, via the ACTU, Australian Industrial Relations Commission, Australian National Training Authority, International Labour Organisation, Telstra, Australia Post and many others. In addition, in the field of education and research, you generously made time to share your advice and experiences with young people at universities in Australia and overseas, which was always inspirational.
