I am so saddened by the death of a such an amazing actor and talent. While I didn't follow his personal life to any degree, I did follow his career... as many of his films became my favorites due much in part to his performance. Deeply saddened, and my heart goes out to his friends and family. It truly is a tragic loss... and one that is felt by many.

I left a message earlier, and I just wanted to add a couple more comments. My sister, 25, was the one that made me, 21, a fan of Brad's. When we were younger, we would always watch his movies together. Most of time, it was The Client, which her fav. She was completely "in love" with him back then...one of her first crushes. I figured that she had heard about Brad's passing, but she hadn't since she's been so busy(school/work). When I told her today, she was completely heartbroken and shocked, as were many of his fans when they found out, as I was. It's so amazing how many people's lives he touched and how much he meant to people...I just wonder if he knew that. I hope so! His fans loved him so much, supported him, and hoped for the best with everything he did. He was truely a gifted actor who took on such interesting roles in films. He was so talented, and an added bonus for all the female fans out there was that he was incredibly attractive. He will be remembered as a kind man(as I have heard from the stories and memories of others) and an extremely talented actor. My heart goes out to Brad's family and friends. I wish you peace and strength at this very difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Brad! You are a star in heaven now.

Brad, I had been a fan of yours since The Client, which was an awesome movie. I am still in shock that you're gone...you were so young! You were a wonderful actor...so talented!!! I have loved Brad since I was 11 years old. He has been part of my life since childhood and ever since THE CLIENT came out I've admired him. I always thought how cool it was that someone my age was acting in a movie with Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon (since I really want to be an actress). He was such a great actor. He was so bad-ass and my age! I am stunned the fact that he is gone. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that we have lost an incredible human being. I grew up loving Brad.. he was my 1st crush. When my dad and I drove through Knoxville I used to make him look for his house..haha.. I think he is amazing.He was one the best actors I've ever seen in my life.. I will miss him soo much. It's really been bothering me, and I just want his friends and family to know what an impact he had on my life. I know he is in heaven looking down on all of his fans and smiling.

I could tell just tell by looking at him that he had such a beautiful soul. I never knew it was possible to miss someone this much you never even met. I was a great fan of Brads. The movie he did that was so great was the Cure it was about a boy dying of AIDS and Brad played hes best frind in it. My best friend died in 1992 from AIDS and the movie brought back memorys. He was real good in it. It bothers me when they write about the movies he did they seem to forget or do not care cause it was about AIDS. I am sad that he past away it broke my heart. I was always intrigued by Brad's cheeky interviews back in the '90s when he was young. He was always outspoken and never afraid to crack a joke at adults' expense. Out of all the other '90s chid stars, Renfro was the one I most identified with. His acting resume is impressive and I was looking forward to many more movies in the future. So sad that he had to die young. RIP Brad Renfro, you will be dearly missed,

I saw most of brad movies , he was a awsome actor , you can sense he love he trade of work , From the client , the cure , tom and huck and deuce wild , and many more , you hardly actors that seem dedicated to there work , sure he got in trouble whit the law , but you have to look past it .

I watched this young actor command the screen in such a way that you had to take note. He really was sublime & his passion for acting will ensure his memory & legacy of music/film will live on. He was one of my favourite actors & I thank him for his gift of life...for a while the world was bright. We only die if were forgotten..... Dearest Brad, I first loved you in The Client and so many movies after, Sleepers being my favourite. I just watched you 2 nights before your untimely death, in a movie where you died. It was then that I actually thought about how well you seemed to have been doing. I guess that illusion was your best acting yet. I remember first seeing Brad in The Client, and then The Cure and The Adventure of Tom Swayer. I was such a fan of his growing up. When I saw him in Ghost World and Bully I always wondered why I didn't see him more often in movies and the news. He was such a great talent. He was such an amazing and convincing actor, always playing the one on the bad road, just wish it didnt mirror his real life. I used to cover my wall with his posters after I first saw him in The Client, and was a fan ever since, I was saddened to hear of his addiction to drugs, and then to finally hear he has lost his battle. What a sad day, all respect to his closest mates and family. Im sure he will now finally rest in peace.
