Sincere sympathy to Bruce's family and friends for your loss. I interviewed Bruce in November about his craft and am so glad I got the chance to meet him. We shared a bottle of wine and his friend Elly made us all delicious corned beef sandwiches. He was a fascinating person, a wonderful artist and designer and so full of life and passion. Bruce ended the interview by saying "It started simply for me and it just became a wonderful life. I don’t know what people say about me, but I’m fairly reclusive and - I just want to have mates around for dinner and have a good time and supposedly I’m supposed to be drawing and painting and all that - because they reckon I’m pretty good at it. But I haven’t got around to it yet."
