With happy memories of the friendship we formed during a decade of sharing a staff room at work. A gifted linguist and a witty raconteur, Carol was elegant, well travelled and interested in so many things. A woman who loved life and never lacked courage. I was very sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in peace.
