David and I were great pals during his time at Stmarys High, we met again later in Townsville in '76. After that I last touch and at intervals tried to re-locate to no success. I was saddened to find him here. Vale 'snake'

So many wonderful memories of so many friends and it all seems so just "yesterday". David was such a vibrant colorful person who was "so cool." He had such a great social conscious for one so young. If I thought there was a person in our year that would have made a difference in this world by his presence, I would have picked David as being that person. I am truly devastated that Davids life has been cut so short and I truly hope that his memory lives on. I will always remember David as eternally youthful intelligent, passionate, sensitive, lively, colourful, vibrant, creative and much more. He was a young freckled face teenager with big eyes and brought to St Marys High a freshness that was so respected and appreciated. I hope David has found peace. He will always be in my heart as a great friend and fellow student at St Marys High and to all his children ...Your father was a fine friend to many a great student, intelligent, creative and verry funny.... God Bless you all and may you all find much love for your Dad in your healing! Kind Regards Lynne Irving ( nee Tunny ) (I am not in this photo but will try and send others on )

Dave and I were together for 3 years in High School. After high school we had a great weekend in 1972 at the Royal Insurance Xmas Party. Dave was in a flat in Waverley and the party was at the Crest Hotel in the Cross. Being poor sods we helped ourselves to all we could eat n drink and as much cutlery as we could carry. We drove back to Waverley in my 1959 Simca Station Wagon ("..some car a Simca.."). after some relaxing tokes with some of Daves old Maroubra buddies we drove them home.. whacked out of our skulls I had one guy on the roof of the wagon holding onto the roof rack all the way from Waverley to Maroubra...great times. We lost touch soon after and I next caught up with him in Boyes Court in Heatley (Townsville) . He was in 3 Fd Sup and I was in 121 Sup. Boyes caught was a den of iniquity in those days,, booze, girls and single soldiers..he is missed. Peter. Loved his Hendrix!

Farewell and RIP to a fine guy. I had the pleasure of having Dave as a customer in the chemist for the past few years. Always polite, considerate, and full of wisdom. Will be missed by me and all the staff at Darlo Chemist. Paul
