I've been to this page a few times and today I realised it has been 5 months since we lost you. Seeing your face with our wonderful friends, I still wonder why. I hope you are at peace my friend. Donna x

The memories we share are amny and varied, always way in the forefront was the abundant love for your little girl Lilly. When we got togetehr in a group, your entry always made the room brighten and the laugher were from that moment til we left, always involving you. The time we played archery and you shot it 20 ft up the tree, searching for te arrows in the ground and niot giving up til you shot the ballooned one, across field. You are much loved and will be missed a lot, we are blessed to have had you as a dear friend and will see you when we get there in heaven, with love kelly and Anthony

Goodbye David, my beautiful, funny, wonderful cousin. I will always remember you with your kind smile and cheeky grin usually with a mischievous twinkle in your eye. I'll remember forever the fun times we had, when you took me under your wing and showed me Sydney, celebrating your Birthday that year in the Theatre Restaurant for your 21st and what a giggle it was. What about when you came to stay in London? We went for Dim Sum and you took me to see Barry Humphries, good times. We went home clutching Gladioli on the tube! I'm so glad that you came here more recently with Carmen and the beautiful Lili and what a brilliant Daddy you were. You guys loved it here so much you stayed longer and we loved having you all here. Always hoped you'd come back one day. I'll miss you mate, I have the ring you made me as a constant reminder and I look forward to the day you tap me on the shoulder and say "G'day Mand" until then sleep well my friend. x

I met David (Max) Walker when I was in my late teens. I had cashed in my savings bonds and quit my job and travelled from Canada to Australia to visit family and enjoy a 6 month vacation. He was my aunt & uncle's neighbor and we quickly became close. He was the best host I could have asked for and showed me all around the best parts of his beautiful country. We spent the better part of those 6 months together almost every day. I was hoping to one day visit there again and see him one more time, but it saddens me to know I'm too late. My thoughts are with his family and close friends. Even though we met many years ago and haven't been in touch there will always be a special corner of my heart for Max. God Bless.

When I think of Max, I see a round welcoming face, a smile from ear to ear, and the cheekiest twinkle in his eyes. I see colourful mismatched clothes, a huge sense of humour and an even bigger heart. I met Max around 10 years ago through mutual friends and quickly developed a fondness for him...despite his insistence on embarrassing me in public (!)... In fact, he loved ‘any’ opportunity to create a laugh with those around him. He listened when I needed an ear, he squashed me when I wanted a hug and he made me laugh even when I didn’t want to. I remember him at so many things... • times at my old home in Neutral Bay after the ‘usual suspects’ had been ‘out on the town’.... • Easter Shows... • his bucks weekend at St Albans... (I “must” find that t-shirt!) • Big Day Outs... • Summer BBQ get-togethers at his home... and... • the Houseboat Weekend on the Hawkesbury...those that were there that weekend will remember late in the evening when we’d all gone to bed, listening to the lapping of the waves, enjoying how silent and quiet it was and then falling asleep, only to wake up suddenly to Max’s LOUD voice... quoting a line from “Austen Powers” that rang out around the whole valley! ...these are memories that I will cherish. He will always be Max-a-Million. I will think of him often and miss him terribly... always with ‘a smile’. Viv xo

Myself, Rachel, Antony, Tom, Corinne, Grandma, Grandpa and Max were all sitting down for an evening meal. Max turned to Tom and asked him an 'unrepeatable' question. We all looked at Grandma and Grandpa but Max's comment had seemingly just gone over their heads. The comment was a classic Max and will never be forgotten by the family. Your wonderful dry and quirky sense of humour was unparalleled my friend. It was a pleasure and privilege to have met you in this life Max. I do hope that we will meet again. XXX
