Sending our sympathies on Tops' passing - Mum has many fond memories of their times together bringing up their families in "The Paddock". I can remember everyone watching the Davis cup after Xmas with the Knells, Townsends, Turnbulls and many other families. Tops was always a cheerful presence and she and Mum kept in touch over the years with news via Xmas cards. At 92 Mum is very frail (32 kg) and functionally blind (glaucoma & macular degeneration) so probably not possible for her to attend Tops' funeral even though she would very much like to.
