I was sadden to seeing on the 8/9 RAR Passing Parade my friend Doug had passed away. I'm sorry that I didn't take the time to tell Doug of my change in life nor did I thank him for all the support he gave me whilst serving together. I'm very sorry Doug for not saying this to you. I can only hope that in my next journey in life I can tell him. Narelle, I'm very sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you and the kids. I hope the kids (grown up by now) are doing well. I remember the bbqs and the delicious food that you and Doug would prepare for my visit and especially if my kids were with me. I can say that Bree is now in Canberra doing quite well for herself. Bree has grown into a beautiful young lady. Tel is still in Toowoomba as a RN. Again, my condolences to you Narelle and the family. I can only hope that as time moves on you will remember him as a devoted husband and father and one who served our country with honour and distinction.
