My earliest memories of holidays, before we were even at school are vivid of Peter and the Blaubaums. Peter and Noel would go fishing and bring back a catch which was usually as large as it was stinky. I remember Pete in the house on Cotham Road, where the Blaubaum's had the first television I ever viewed, it must have been 1956. The wonderful partnership of Peter & Anne created an household which was always fun to visit or stay in. Throughout his life he was a wonderful, humours, engaging person. A man of letters, art and music as well as science. A traveller and with Di & Noel, always a wonderful travelling companion. Memories of him will live with me forever. Andrew Ramsey
